This is another staple you visit when you're visiting Nashville. The spicy fried chicken brings you there but the slushy Jack and Coke keeps you there.

The Original Spicy Fried Chicken Sandwich

As with famous staples to any town, to have a good experience while you're there it's great to do you research and look up the store hours to head over early. There might be a line out the door but you can place your order online! After you choose your location on their website, you can click on place a to go order and customize your order.

I choose the fried sandwich with a boneless, skinless breast topped with a cole slaw and pickles inside a toasted bun. You can customize how spicy you want your chicken and choose your choice of a side dish and customize whether you want to modify anything. You finish off with choosing your pickup time.

Once you see the very long line outside, you can skip it and walk to the counter following the signs for online pick up. It's a much faster line. If you're with a large group of people, it's also wise to start scouting for a table for everyone to sit at. There's an indoor dining space but theres a covered patio outside as well.

The sandwich was hot when it came out and the fried chicken was crispy inside of a perfectly toasted bun. The side of pimento Mac and cheese was warm and creamy. With it being a hot, summer day, the slushy was the perfect compliment. You were given the drink right after you pay at the counter. It was a nice compliment while you were waiting for your food. It was a great opportunity to sip on and look around at the crowded tables to see people enjoying their food.

On the covered patio, everyone at their food enjoying the nice breeze that came by every few minutes. We had also shared a banana pudding. While I'm not a fan of it, I went for a second scoop because it was that good.

Needless to say, I think whatever you choose to get from their menu, you won't be disappointed. If you're going, make sure to check their store hours and order ahead to make your time more there more efficient. Can't wait to visit again!
